Judy is looking forward too visiting with the 4th Graders who are reading her book Saving Home,

as they study Early Florida History!

One of Judy's not-yet-published novels, NewshoundZ, won the Gold Award for the Young Adult Category for the 2023 Royal Palm Literary Awards. It was also second runner-up for the Unpublished 2023 Book of the Year!	Judy's book FRIENDSHIP RULES has been named a finalist in the 2023 American Fiction Awards in the pre-teen fiction category.
Judy's newest novel, NewshoundZ, is a finalist in the 2023 Royal Palm Literary Awards. Winners will be announced in October!	Students at Avalon Elementary School were excited to chat with Judy about their recent 2023 field trip to St. Augustine, the setting for Judy's historical fiction novels.	4th Graders at Keene's Crossing Elementary School had some wonderful questions ready for Judy when she visited with them. They were eager to hear about the research and writing process.

Forcing Change has earned an Honorable Mention in the Middle Grades Fiction category of the 2018 Royal Dragonfly Book Awards! So honored to be listed alongside such accomplished writers and such wonderful books.
Forcing Change has won the 2018 KidsShelf Books Cover Award. Congratulations to awesome artist Michael Hallberg who created the cover art for FHS Press.	The National Humanities Center's 2018-19 Teacher Advisory Council.	Judy's book, Forcing Change, has won the 2018 James J Horgan Award for an outstanding publication which promotes the study of Florida history and heritage, intended for younger readers.
